I have 4 or 5 different types of chickens. Silkies, Rhode Island Red, Golden Comet, Bantams and 2 mutts. I mostly have them for pets, my dad does eat the eggs but i would never consider killing one of them. I have....14? I think soon I'll have 18.
 
I have 4 road island reds, 4 black rocks, 1 pekin batam, 1 aracana\pekin hen, 4 ducks and 2 splash Orpingtons!! Love them all to bits!!

I don't know why BYC doesn't have a cut off point - so they don't show old, old posts as being ones we haven't answered. Sometimes the thread starter has gotten out of chickens by the time we see the thread. Weird system.
