Hi there. I am new to owning chickens. We have 3 Rhode Island Reds, 5 Black Sex Links and 10 Barred Rocks. Unfortunately 2 of my Barred Rocks turned out to be roosters so they will have to find a new home. Although they are absolutely beautiful, I have two little boys and as a dog groomer I have clients and their fuzzy friends coming to our home all week long. Although they are very friendly now I would hate to have an issue.
The Barred Rocks are new to us this year the other girls are from last summer. I have actually joined here hoping to learn what is going on with one of my RIR. I will look around the forum to see where I am supposed to ask questions. If I misplace where it is to go please excuse my error. These little girls are my 5yr old sons favorite friends and I want to keep them healthy before we loose another one. (We lost one about 2 weeks ago now)
I am looking forward to seeing what you have available here and using your expertise to keep our girls around for a long time.
Susie
