New To BYC

Hello everyone, I am new to BYC and relatively new to raising chickens. I purchased five barred rocks after I was laid off from my job in February of this year. Then I bought an incubator and started to add more to my flock. I have found that raising chickens is very entertaining and a great way to spend all of this free time I have on my hands, and as an added plus my daughter loves them just as much as I do. I found this site while trying to find some answers for some of the beginner problems I had and found this site to be very informative. So I decided to join. I am sure I will be asking more questions until I get this figured out, and maybe I might be some help to some of you. Thanks for Having me!!!

Yes, the chickens are a good way to spend free time. Whenever I'm 'chilling' in the garden the chickens are always nearby.
