Hey Everyone,
I've been visiting this site a lot the past few months and finally decided to join.
We were given 4 hens last summer that have done great until one died a few weeks ago. We had named her Dora because she was a little explorer but the last few weeks before she died she was very lethargic and would just stand in one place for hours. After doing a lot of research we tried everything we could but she died on Father's Day. Our other hens are doing great and we have two 9 week pullets we got at 1 week old from the feed store for our boys.
I guess I've got the chicken fever because I recently got three more 9 week pullets off Craigslist but I'm starting to think they are all roos(which we can't have where we live). No crowing yet so we will wait and see before making any decisions.
