New to BYC

Hello all!
We are a family of 4 living in an urban setting with 11 - 7 week old chicks. We have 6 black astralorps and 5 golden comet pullets. We are ALMOST finished with the girls coop, so we'll be posting pics soon and look forward to the input and info we find on this forum!

You are going to love your Australorps! They are a very docile friendly breed of chicken. Great layers too. My Aussies are huge on lap sitting. I can't sit anywhere without a chicken begging to sit on my lap! The stalk me all day looking for goodies or a nice soft lap to sit on.
