(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, a 4 year olds, and a hubby. We are new to chickens and excited for this adventure! We definitely need some help with tips and tricks! Especially living in a cool climate with baby chicks we are so worried about doing the right thing with our chicks.

Orpingtons are lovely birds! One of my original flock was a Buff Orp and I adored her.

You will be able to find plenty of tips and suggestions for raising chickens in your cool climate; folks here are always willing to share what they've learned.
