Last night I heard a ruckess from the coop.

Went outside and the cover to the nestbox had been removed. One chicken was missing but came out of hiding in the bushes when I went to feed them in the morning.

My B.O. girl I noticed had a patch at her neck taken out though I don't see any blood. And her comb has some blood on it. I cleaned both areas with peroxide. She is eating and drinking just fine. A bit skiddish now which was remedied with some live meal worms.

Anything I should look for in caring for her?

The nest box cover is secure now and we are working harder than ever to get the new coop conversion done.

Advice on what to do would be appreciated.

I know of someone whose hens were attacked by a group of raccoons. One of the hens got her head bitten off. The coop was secured so the raccoons couldn't get in, but they managed to get the hen close enough to the fence and reached in and pulled the head out of the coop.
