Our family just added chicks to our small zoo (2 dogs, 2 cats).
About 10 days ago 19 chicks came via USPS from Valley Farms Hatchery.
All in great spirits, alive and healthy - yay!
We are only going to be keeping 6 of these, and already have homes lined up for the rest.
We will be reaching out to this awesome chicken community on here with some questions in regards to sexing our Barred Rocks and Salmon Faverolles. Both should be females, 90% guaranteed.
We can only keep females, so want to make sure we don't keep that 10% chance rooster instead.
