HI everyone!
My family is very new to chickens but excited to get started. We recently were given this coop and plan to get 3 hens this spring. I have been reading a lot about predators and want to keep our hens safe. But at the same time, I like the idea of mobility. Is there any way to turn this coop into a chicken tractor safely? I like the idea of mobility a lot.
If not, can you all give me some suggestions on keeping predators out? I have read that we need to put this coop inside a fence, that we need to attach a fence to the bottom and dig it down 18 inches and out 8 inches. And lots more, most of which contradicts suggestions from other sources..... I just want to do this right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
