I have never had a chick vaccinated, nor do I intend to do so. Even if I had it show up in my flock, I believe, I would follow my current practice of non vaccination.

Purina sounds like the best starter feed but I'm going to try Waianae Feed & Grain starter feed they sell for couple of bucks less. They sold me some outstanding brown egg layer mash. Only 6 hours after giving her these grinds we had our first egg!
Local grinds are good for our OAO Hennyko She sings to let us know she's laying an egg.
Since then she lays 6+ a week because we give her treats which she really enjoys. She is the boss over our backyard Rabbit old man Jules given to us in 2010 He knows the pecking order and hides when she's loose. We let her out of her 2/1/2 by 21/2 ft cage for at least 30 minutes before dark and we put in different spots everyday.
We use another cage with wire floor 2-5 ft as her night box with a broom handle to roost on with small Home Depot box I cover with newspaper cus sometimes she goes Oo there.She lays eggs at random wherever she's at. Only 2's in nesting box since Christmas!
