new to chickens- not sure of this ones breed/ gender

well... the bird has proven itself to indeed be a roo... so my next question- he's the only one i have- i dont want to keep him separate, but my other hens seem to pick on him some and damage his feathers- (the hens are 2 black sex links, 3 red sex links and a danish brown leghorn) what breed(s) should i be on the look out for to put in with the roo? can i use a different breed? i've never had a "showy" chicken before- and i'm in sault ste. marie ontario canada.... anybody know breeders close by?

You should check Kijiji for breeders near you.

Any bantam would be good with this breed. I found my D'Uccle was picked on a lot as well. They are such a docile breed...

I know D'Uccle x Silkie crosses are extremely cute lol Just an idea ;)
