New to chickens ...our new coop w/pix!

Our new coop started out as a used packing crate:

After some paint -random brown "mistints" from Lowes,time to frame a roof with large overhang -we get a lot of rain....

Still need to build run it'll be 6 x 16 feet 3 feet high 1/2 inch hardware cloth.....

Is the roof placed high for ventilation?

sorry , but to me a roof that high can be dangerous with high winds .

Ours is built on a 4 inch slant for the rain to drain .
