I was given 8 babies as a gift last Tuesday. And have a very serious question about the rooster and what would happen if he fertilized the other breed eggs.First off here is what I have.
2 Black Jersey Giant Hens
3 Easter egger hens
2 Cherry egger hens
Rooster is a Cherry egger.
These came from a local farm and store. I plan on adding 2 silkies I am getting from a local breeder but she does not know the sex of the birds so I wont know what they are for awhile.
I was told in another thread housing them together should not be a problem. But I did want to hatch a batch of eggs just for the experience. Thank you
