Good choice! Chickens are a great pet to pick as they are independent, don’t run away, and very interactive

I only found this site as my son's first layer is producing very large brown eggs. (First month) most are double yolkers and I followed the thread by Rebecca to see if they were worth incubating.
Plus we exhibited some eggs at a local show and won! Much to the annoyance of the "professional showers".
