New to chickens

Hi everyone.. I'm new for having my own flock. I have been interested in doing something worth while and enjoying fresh eggs at the same time. By this I mean I'm want to help keep at least one heritage breed of chickens going! I have the time, place, and relative means to do so. With the help of my fellow poultry enthusiasts of course! There are many breeds I am very found of! I currently am mainly interested in having. The original breeder stock E.B. Thompson's 'Imperial Ringlet' Strain. I am waiting on replies from both known to have this strain without out crossing. I am open to any help you all can give me as to obtaining this breed and reaching my goals. Thank you Rob
