I have to agree with building larger than what you intend to keep. It sucks doing subtraction in chicken math
Also, if you build your coop be sure to research before building; making sure the ground is leveled properly, and making sure things are measured correctly. It's an awesome and rewarding experience having chickens. Good luck!
