Great idea. That is something I have thought about. Im still trying to learn how to manage her. She is super tame. Let’s me hold her etc. She is currently laying on infertile eggs for about a few weeks. I need to remove them and that’s my next question which I will look up… will she get depressed if I remove her eggs? She is broody now and it’s time to get her out of that broody trance. At first I was not sure if the eggs where fertile but I did candeling and it’s almost been three weeks and I don’t see anything. I don’t intend on getting a male chicken. I want to have a female chicken partner. But I want to make sure they get along and that it doesn’t cause trauma either. I don’t want them to try to peck at each other and then end up with a mean bully chicken. Thanks I’ll look into what you send.![]()
You may want to get her a friend in the future. Chickens are flock animals. You will find a lot of good information here
Good luck with your bird and have fun...
