Yep, they're RIR and hens........I have two RIR hens. They are beautiful hens and are very affectionate. They love to be picked up and scratched. It's not easy getting them to let you pick them up but once you have done this a few times, it gets easier and they start trusting you. Mine bow down to me when I approach them and I just reach down and pick them up...lol
