Hello my name is Justin. My wife and I had been talking about getting a few chickens for eggs. I told her I would look around and try to find some that were already laying and build a coop in the mean time. We'll the next day she comes home from tractor supply with 6 baby chicks 3 different breeds. So I say where are we going to keep them, spare bath tub she says, big big big mistake. When she got the chicks she bought all kinds of random things, thinking it could be used for something on the coop I was hurried into building, I say we really don't need this honey can you take it back, so she did. Came home with 2 more chicks though. So we are now the proud owners of 8 chicks that we don't know the breeds. Needless to say the coop is built and the chicks have been in it for about a month now. I would like to post some pics of the chicks and see if y'all could help with the breeds. Looking forward to talking with the new community and hope with time I can be of some help also.

LOL - lesson #1 - do not send the newly chicken obsessed person to the farm store unsupervised!
