Congratulations! Chickens are wonderful and can be quite lovable as well as funny and entertaining! Treat them kindly and feed &water them well and you will be rewarded with a handsome breakfast every morning, straight from the source!

And congrats on the new hens! Go easy with them for a couple weeks. Move slowly around them, don't pick them up much and keep their stress down for awhile to help them settle in. Keep some fake eggs in the boxes to help them learn where you want them to lay.
