New to chicks roo or pullet?

Ordered Barred rock chicks through a feed store he says he only gets pullets. Of coarse my favorite one that will let me hold I have the feeling is a roo. 3 weeks old can anybody confirm? TIA.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture from straight in front of "his" head would you?

It's kind of hard to tell at this age. You're going to have to wait until he/she starts growing more feathers and the comb and waddles start to grow.

My favorite silver laced wyandotte got their name because I was guessing it was a cockerel but not sure. I named her Roo-Paul. I'm fairly certain. He is a she now but not positive at only 10 weeks old

I would say cockerel. And we will see if I'm right in about 5 more weeks.
