I will try to remember the numbers and questions... I am new here and new to raising chickens in general. I have gone off the deep end a little bit the last week.
my first chick purchase was at TS, and was 2 Isa browns, 1 Golden comet and 1 Asian black. That opened the floodgates, and have been obsessing ever since.
after expanding my craigslist search to 200 miles, my partner and I ended up driving two hours to pick up 1 Blue partridge Brahma, 2 silver double laced Barnevelders, 1 opal legbar, 1 blue maran, 1 black ameraucana.
I love them all so much, but now I just find myself wanting more. We are currently building an 8x8 modified hoop coop with a 16 foot run.
currently i have been doing research on incubators, as I would love to add some more beauties to my flock.
I also collect cactus, former sushi chef and current yoga teacher.
