New to ducks. What do I have?

I have had chickens for several years now but have never had ducks. A friend gave me two hatchlings. I have no idea what they are. A mix maybe? Muscovy mix?

They are the same age as the Easter Egger behind them in the bottom picture.

I would guess full Muscovy.

You have two lovely muscovy. The one in the foreground might be male -- it has broad tail. The one behind is a barred. It might be female as it seems to have a pointed tail.

But you will know within weeks as drakes carry on growing and end up about 14lbs. Females stop growing at about 6 weeks when the are about 7lbs. Females make a quiet gurgling sound whereas males only make a huffing sound
