I don't know weather I am holding out hope or not..

it is day 23 today, I thought I was going to get another over night as there was a chip in an egg before I went to bed - although it was half way on the egg, not in the air pocket.
I got up during the night to check (only twice) and picked the egg up, I heard cheeping coming from the egg, so I left it alone. This morning, there was no change, and I could NOT hear any cheeping.. so, I dont know!
Also, one of the other eggs had a green ooze where it was resting - I have removed the egg (might do an egtopsy when the child goes to school - don't want to give her nightmares)

I will water candle a couple of the other eggs and see if I have movement I guess.... any other suggestions would be welcomed

so - just candled the eggs and I can still see movement and hear some chirping. Looks like I will just have to be patient.
I removed one that was obviously not alive, a couple of others had no movement, but in general looked ok.. aahh well - watch this space for updates
