New to forum with question

Thanks for all the replys. I think I'll get one of the water bottles to try but have the regular chick waterers ready incase they have trouble with the bottle.

I'm getting so excited

how many are you getting , if you have more than a few u will need a bigger waterer for them , i have "upgraded " twice now .

I only have 6 comming. 2 Barred Rock: 2 Buff Orpington; 2 Blue Cochin. Thought I'd start out small.

hi myfirstchicks , yeah that is what we all say.................and look what happens!
i am personally using the fountain kind of waterer.
but in the hen house we are going to use a gravity fed system .
AND since we have 100 pigs ( jumbo cornish rocks )
i just had to orde from Nasco , two 5 gal bucket feeders for 20.00 each ( that was before i saw how to make them ) and two 7 gallon water fountains . LOL one thing or the oter with theses hens!!!!

I know I'll never have that many, well at least I don't plan to but, I know I'll be getting more since there are so many beautiful birds out there and the more I see the more I want! Looks like I'm getting that diease ya'll talk about
