I have a Chinese gosling that is about 6 weeks old. About a week ago I noticed her favoring one of her legs. I checked it out she had no sores or visible injuries. Well then a couple of days later she is having trouble walking, not being able to support herself and just falling down. Well now she can't even get up or use her legs. Her joints are very swollen and hot. I have started her on niacin by putting it in her food or her water. She acts like she wants to getup and move but can't. Any suggestions would greatly help.

Give the niacin a chance to work it may take up to 5 days. But it usually starts pretty quick. also let her have swim time this takes pressure off the legs and helps build muscle. I'd keep the water on the warm side for now. she is an adorable baby and hopefully you'll start seeing improvement soon.
It has to be plain niacin not flush free or time released.
