new to geese

I am new to geese have had ducks but I know nothing about geese I bought an African gander and an embeden female. Will they cross? Can I feed normal layer pellets and how big of a run do I need

Yes they will cross, and geese are grazers first and foremost, they love grasses, so if you can incorporate and area for them that they can graze they will love it. And feeding layer is okay too but I feed my flock an all flock feed so my gander,.drakes and roosters aren't getting the extra calcium I put out Oyster shell in a separate container. if you can give them grazing area then I suggest you feed them some kind of greens, collards, kale ,Romine lettuce cabbage etc. They bigger the run the better so they can have a kiddy pool for bathing and mating. size wise I have no idea, we have just added an additional 500'of fencing to our property so they all can range safely, since we are over run with predators. Geese are awesome.
