New to Guineas. Would like Advice. *Pics*

It's been a few days and my other guineas are fine, thankfully. I still have one that gives out the buck-wheat call, so I think I have at least one girl in the lot. Are they too young to be calling yet? People say that they usually are a few months old when they start, but my guinea really does sound like she's calling out "Buck-wheat".

They were hatched around Christmas day, so she is about 7 weeks old or so. They are getting more comfortable in the pen too. I let the chooks out for a few hours free-range everyday, so they get some time to explore on their own.

I'll listen out for my other two to start making any noise, but so far they are only peeping. Or they might be calling, and I don't hear it. My house is a little walk from my chicken yard.

We're putting in trees in my new giant yard soon, does anyone have any suggestions as to what type guineas like to roost in? I'll also have plenty of shade and a coop and a shed for cover, but will they sleep in trees if they get the opportunity? The new run is going to have no wire covering the top, but it will be surrounded by electric wire to keep the foxes out and my poultry in.

Just quickly, One of my Lavenders has started to develop the wattles that come out on either side of the chin. They are only tiny bumps and at first I though one my hens could have attacked it behind my back (I haven't seen them do that at all). But there are two, symmetrically placed on either side. The other two have nothing like that yet. Is this another normal thing, like a wattle, or is my bird actually hurt?

Normal, just baby wattles

Spot the Guineas.

This is why I haven't up loaded any photos recently, the keets know how to disappear into their pen by now. But then they tried to hide in a bright blue plastic container, so photos galore!

The Lavender up the back (John) is the one I thought might be a boy because his wattles are growing much faster (and are a deeper red) than the other two. Even if John turns out to be a hen, I'm not changing his name

. The other Lavender is called Tigger and my pied pearl is Pengu. Will the brown in Pengu's feathers disappear as she grows older?

They are bigger and more comfortable around in their pen now. They still get along fine with my chickens and rooster. Does anyone know at what age any aggression problems might arise? Or is it one of those any age things?
