New to incubating eggs

2 of my eggs have pipped already!

Awesome!

Mine haven't pipped yet, I realized I actually set them a day later than I originally thought so they should hatch tomorrow (hopefully).

You will have to let me know. I came home to 4 hatched, and 1 hatched shortly after I got home. So I have 5 hatched total and 3 more have pipped.
My other incubator went on lockdown tonight. I'm not sure how they are going to do as I had temperature differences.

I saw this thread and decided to use it. I'm sorry but my phone won't let me start my own. Idk why. Anyways, day 22 and all of my chicks have hatched but 1. Its in the middle of hatching. The problem is that one of the other chicks that hatched 2 days ago is having leg troubles. This chick is very lively and shows no sign of sickness. One of his legs is set in a direction that does not permit him to stand. I tried a splint but with no luck. His legs only either slip out or lay back behind him which allows the leg to move into the improper position. I'm not sure what to do and I am in no position to hand feed this chick for the rest of its life. When I moved it into The brooder with the others they merely pulled him around by his toes.

Have you read this? (or parts of it, might be way too much info lol) The beginning might be useful.

You could try float testing them if you check them over and you're SURE they have no cracks AT ALL. Here's a few links on float testing.

I usually hold the large end of an egg (that is close to hatching) up to my ear, and if I hear any cheeping or other sounds it is alive but if I don't hear anything it could be a dud, or it could be taking a nap. Personally I don't get rid of eggs until at least day 25, because if the incubator temp is slightly cool then they can take longer to develop.

Or you could try this.

Thanks for this post. My 1st hatch was a complete fail. I'm on day 21 of my 2nd hatch and was feeling really bummed until I read your post. Wed will be day 23 and Friday day 25.. I'll give it a few more days...

Sounds like probably slipped tendons, I'll try to find some links on how to treat that.
