New to incubating please help

I have around 15 eggs in there but last time i checked only 5 or so looked to be full so im not sure if i have enough to sacrifice one yet. Last time my uncle incubated the eggs and he didnt actually see a pip until day 29/30 but unfortunately the one egg that was in there did not manage to break the shell apart so did not make it, could it be these chicks take longer than other chickens? And no bad smells from incubator

Yeah i might as well leave them be for now as there isnt any smell so hopefully no exploding eggs

Ended up with three. Standard cochins-black, blue or splash. Thrilled. Good luck to everyone else.

Very cute, how i envy you lol my first time and probably last time of incubating doesn't seem to be going to well :(

I think I tried at least twice before anything hatched. My results came when I #1-read the Little Giant tips and got a hydrometer. Third time was a charm. this is my fourth.

Thing is as my uncle sold the roosters the hens eggs are no longer fertile so this was the last chance to hatch their chicks :(

I cracked open the eggs today and out of 15 only 3 had developed small embryos and most of the rest had the bullseye so im sure they were fertile but never developed for some reason
