I will keep my fingers crossed, should i reposition the eggs now to make it easier for them to hatch or will they be strong enough to push all the other eggs away to get out of their shells?
The eggs touching is no big deal. In a nest of eggs or a full incubator they touch and hatches go just fine. The worst that could happen is once you have a chick break out it'll roll the other eggs and that isn't a problem either. Once there is an external pip you are on your way! Chicks are tougher than you'd think lol. I hope this helps.
So should i just relax? Lol, what i was worried about is the eggs on the end are against the incubator wall so to hatch they will need to push against against 4 rows of eggs but i have never incubated or even seen a chick hatching in person so its probably just beginners nerves and im worrying about nothing lol now im just excited for the day they do hatch
When it comes to hatching the nerves never go away lol. Take a deep breath "mama" and sit back and enjoy. Once they pip the real waiting begins. Its the worst ! Because they kinda take a break and get their stuff together before hatching. It can take a day or longer! Gah it makes me crazy. But I've never herad them peep before the external pip. Mine go on lockdown around midnight and I too am freaking out. Keeping calm is easier said then done.
Your comments have helped put my mind to rest but as you said the nerves never go away lol now i just have to play the waiting game and hope my thermometer temperature was accurate all along the incubation process
