I will be taking a late egg from my broody either today or tomorrow. Three have hatched and I'm afraid the last one is too far behind. I candled it and believe it's at 11 days.

I bought a brinsea mini ii advance. Are these settings correct:

Day 11
Temp 99.5
Turn interval 180 minutes
Turn angle 8 (silkie eggs)
Alarm high 3.7 f
Alarm low 5.4 f
Cooling off
The water chamber is full

Also, is there a way to shut off the beeping?

I don't know about the beeping but everything else looks OK. Are the turn angle and all the other numbers adjustable?
Does cooling off mean a daily cool down?

The angle and the other numbers are adjustable. The turn time goes from 15-180 minutes. The angles goes up to 10. I haven't really researched the cooling feature. Do you think I should have that on auto?

Some companies believe a daily cool down simulates a hen getting off the nest daily and can enhance hatchability. You may want to research it before you turn it on.
Early in incubation, more frequent turning is beneficial. My old GQFs turn at about 150 minutes but it isn't adjustable. Since you are at day 11, 180 is probably OK.
I don't quite understand what an angle of 8 or 10 signifies. I think the more angled the egg the better as long as there isn't any danger of the egg falling out.

The angle on the Mini refers to the amount of time (number of seconds) it take some to roll the eggs a full 180 degrees. There is a chart in the manual that you can compare the size of the eggs against. I don’t have silkies and have never incubated any but I used angle 8 on my CCL eggs and I’m pretty sure those are larger in diameter than silkie eggs so you should definitely check against the manual. Good luck!

I know I used angle 5 for my Serama eggs and they turned a full 180 using the smaller quail egg insert. You can mark the egg with a pencil so you know how far it is turning. I usually mark the edges of the air cell with a circular ring and then put an additional line through the edge of the ring where the air cell dips lower into the egg. That is the line I use to not only determine if the eggs are rotating correctly but also so I know which end of the egg to face up when lockdown starts.

Thanks for that clarification.

I put the silkie eggs up to the chart and the diameter was closest to the 8 I thought.

Do you think for a regular hatch at 21 days, the turning should be more frequent than 180? Like I said, I can change it from 15-180. I think the default was 45.
