New to Jumbo Coturnix... Accepting all tips and advice!

I just set about 10 eggs in my bator... got them from a friend to try the taste, she gave me more than I expected, so I decided to try out the hatching, as well. I will build them a pen over the next couple weeks, but am wondering what the best feed is for them, and any other tips and tricks you may have!

Pretty much everything I see has them raised off the ground for housing... I am not opposed to building something like that, but I have a cornered off area of my yard that is PLENTY big enough and I could cover it with trellis or something... Are they ok living on the ground? I live in Arizona and don't have to deal with perpetually wet ground, etc.

If you keep them on the ground you will have to worm them. They are more prone to disease if on the ground, but if cared for properly it should be fine. As long as you don't mind worming them and cleaning the bedding often you can do it.

You still have to worm them when they are off the ground....

I give them apple cider vinegar in their water once a month.
