Apple cider vinegar is a great parasite control and is natural. I don't like pumping birds up with medication and ACV is cheaper and readily available.

What is it about pumpkins that worm birds?? I've heard of using ACV, but pumpkins?? I'm not sure even my chickens would eat pumpkins... they won't eat butternut squash even if i nuke it to soften it.

RAW PUMPKIN CONTAINS AN ENZYME THAT PARALYSES THE WORMS THEMSELVES, SO THEY CAN BE PASSED THRU THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.

IT MUST BE RAW. MY BIRDS WILL EAT IT READILY. ALL SPECES THO IT IS A TAD DIFFICULT FOR THE DUCKS TO PULL OFF AND RATHER AMUSING TO WATCH

on the pumpkin do you feed them the guts of the pumpkin or the pieces of the "rind" broken up ?

I TAKE A WHOLE RAW PUMPKIN... GO FREDDY KRUGGAR ON IT AND THEN PROCEED TO CHUCK CHUNKS INTO EACH AND EVERY PEN. THEY GET GUTS AND ALL, THO I DO REFRAIN FROM GIVING THE BABIES PEICES WITH SEEDS. THEY PROCEED TO HAVE ROMAN FIEST/ ORGY PARTIES UNTIL ALL YOUR LEFT WITH ARE FAT PREGNANT QUAIL AND A THIN PIECE OF OUTTER PUMPKIN RHINE IF THAT, IN MANY CASES THEY EAT EVERYTHING AND IN ALL CASES THEY ARE LOOKING AT YOU EVERYTIME YOU WALK BY FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS SAYING "MAN THAT WAS SOME GOOD STUFF... GOT ANYMORE?"
