Hi! Minus the camera flash, the chick looks black with barely visable orange stripes. I had to go back and look at the chicks again just to make sure I hadn't picked up the wrong one, but it's the only one of the five with dark feet,beak, and dark except in the pic he looks reddish.
I'd love to see pics blue-faced darkling chicks as adults.
