New to me

Thanks for the info. When we finally got the coop put together we got that idea that we will in no way be able to put all of those gals into that coop.....ugh! Can ya tell we're newbies?
Now we will start to look for a bigger coop for the gals.
Thanks again!
Look for a used shed that you could have moved to your place. Contact shed manufacturers and see if they get ahold of old sheds they may let you have for the price of delivery.
Converting a shed into a coop is a great way to have a walk-in coop for much less than what you can purchase.

Yes we do.
The girls are 4 weeks old.
We live in Wisconsin and are wondering when are they d enough to go into the coop?
They need to be fully feathered even neck and head. Welcome to the fun world of chickens. You guys will love them, they have the coolest personalities.! Good luck on finding bigger coop. At least you have some time before they need more room. I laughed when I read what you went for and what you ended up with! WELCOME to BYC

Thanks a used shed sounds like a super idea. Will start searching for one. Maybe our local hardware store will want to closeout a demo shed for a for the year and give us a good price.:thumbsup
