New to Peafowl getting fertile eggs from a friend and planning to put them under a chicken!

I have just a couple questions of peafowl! First, how long does it take for peafowl to hatch? Can you put peafowl eggs under a chicken if so how many? Finally how long does it take until the peafowl can live without a mother?

Not Sure about Hens but this is a guide for an incubator hatch

I always read everywhere 28 days but my peachicks (blues) always hatch in 26 days. The incubator holds steady temps and all other eggs hatch at the appropriate time - chickens 21 days, etc.

some due hatch 26 day in most cases those are southern location

Myself and few other peafowl breeders set them under a chicken first week and then move to incubator.

so yes you can , i don't like mixing them with chickens
