New to raising chickens

Hey everyone , my name is Danielle . My family and I are new to raising chickens. We have a total of 11 currently and 8 of them are chicks.
I have one chick who is not growing as quickly as the others, he is prob around 1 week old. It’s body is smaller then the others , it’s wings are growing but body is not. He is weaker and not as active . He does get the poop stuck on his butt at times so I wash his butt with warm water and then use coconut oil after . I also put some vitamins and electrolytes in his water as well . He sleeps a lot where the other chicks are very active .
Any other suggestions and ideas as to what could be the issue ?

Where did you get the eggs from?
Is this smaller weaker chick being raised in a brooder or by a broody hen?
Sadly sometimes chicks are born with genetic defects and they just don't thrive.

I had a smaller chic that turned out to be a bantam. But it seemed healthy while growing though. I would just keep doing what you’re doing. It may grow out of it.

I got the chicks from tractor supply. I attached a pic of the chick . We brought him inside today with the heat lamp. He is eating and drinking and pooping.
