Your daughter would love raising chickens! It's so much fun! I use Layena Omega-3 for my 4 girls. I consider mine organic because I know that my yard is not treated with pesticides nor are the kitchen scraps treated. The only cost that I'm not sure you accounted for is the hay/ shavings which doesn't cost much at all. Good luck and I hope you get some babies.
