Are you near Shawano County? My hubby is an electrician. You said you had power to the coop but no outlets. That would take him a few minutes to get you a couple so you could use a heated nipple bucket. We have three of those in the growout/breeding pens.

In the coop, we heat to 40F with an oil-filled radiant heater so the 5-gallon nipple bucket won't freeze nor the eggs. The silkies were out today at 13F (feels like 4F) and go back in to 40F to warm up, then back out again. Much colder than this, we'll keep them locked in their coops.
