I don't know if it's just UK because I've heard it too :D though not very often and I'm not sure ever in person, mostly online, so who knows haha

Yup yup. I'd be curious to find out too, and especially curious what it's cat and not rabbit or lynx or some other common animal lol maybe they meant big cats
 
Have you ever heard this saying when someone's not listening? "They've got two pair of socks on."
One of my grammys's favorites. Meant that the other pair of socks was stuffed in their ears....hahaha

Thats a new one on me!
