Adore my roos....the first one posted is my alpha...and is not one you really want to mess with, he takes his job very seriously!
The 2nd, is more gentle...

you got some great advice, nothing I can add really. They do a great job of warning of hawks etc...call girls to treats they find, even break up squabbles
between the girls. I would not have a flock without one or two.

I have 13 laying girls, and these 2 roos, they each have their girls, and will split up in the yard when they free range...each group of girls has their own
protector!

Love it!
