My husband has been wanting chickens for quite some time but I was leery. The 3rd graders at the school incubated some eggs in their science class and we took two home. These are them! They hatched in April and we are new to the chicken community and, honestly, still don’t know if they are hens or roosters. They are noisy in the morning but read that a small flock with no rooster may have a hen that shows dominance. They don’t have the classic rooster tails or spurs but friends that have had chickens are concerned with the combs. No idea. Thoughts? By looking at the wings, we say hens.
