We are a small family living in Southern MN. We just picked up our new chicks last Sunday! My oldest son so far is loving it. He very much enjoys watching and talking with the 6 chicks that we have. I believe we go a gold comet, 2 Columbia wyandottes, a black sex link, two black laces Wyandotte. The 6th chick we have I am not 100% sure what she is possible a blue sapphire? We are currently building their coop, almost done! We have one dog shes almost 11 years old and will soon be getting an axolotl, we are just waiting on the fish tank to cycle! We are a busy family that enjoys being outdoors, gardening, hiking, and camping. I am currently a birth doula and student midwife. When I am not at a birth we are spending as much family time together as possible. Our two children are 7 years old and 7 months old. We have been interested in getting chicken for a couple of years now. We just needed to wait till we bought a house. We hope one day to have some land in a couple of years!
