Hi, I'm from PA. We got 8 Isa brown chicks from tsc Easter weekend. Been lurking here since. Finished our co-op today, and so far all is well. Can't wait for the first eggs to come. Mean time they are fun to watch

Welcome to BYC -- I am so glad you have joined us, and that you are enjoying your new flock. It is really amazing just how they can draw you in, watching "chicken tv" never gets old.

Thanks for the welcome. They were out in the run for first time yesterday. Funny to watch them go down the ramp to the grass then turn and run up the ramp. Good entertainment for the dogs too

We read where they will lay 300-350/yr per chicken. With our 8 it works out to almost 5 doz a week.
