Good evening y’all
My name is Antonio and I’m here cause like all of you awesome people , I have decided to raise chickens , cause they are cute and adorable. I have recently adopted four silky chicks, got them at my local TSC and they have been with me for about 3 weeks . So far they are looking healthy and happy and growing very fast. I’m also the proud dad of two dogs and a cat. Currently studying to become a veterinary assistant and start my journey in the amazing animal care industry.
I currently live in South Carolina but I’m planning on moving to Dallas in about a year. I have looked for information on keeping BYC in the Dallas city limits and so far have found that they are ok as long as you have no rooster . Can someone confirm this ? The information out in the infinite web can be a bit ambiguous as y’all know. I’m super exited about starting my Dallas life chapter so my dogs , my cats and my chickens will all be driving our truck west to good ole Texas . (Mental picture) Yeap just like that scene from The muppets movie where Gonzo and the girls take the road. If any of you Texas folks out there can give any advise we will greatly appreciate it. May y’all enjoy this lovely spring weather with your chickens and your families .
