Hey y'all I'm a stay at home mama, I raise chickens for eggs and pets. That being said, every time I google something about them, it brings me here to read about. I figured it was time to join.

Right now we have right around 30. Variance is breeds and age. First got into chicken raising 2 years ago, now cant imagine without them.
Americaunas, Wyandottes, Plymouth Rocks, Salmon Favorelles, Marans, Sussexes and a few 'surprise they aren't what the breed in the bin was'... but I love them all anyways.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined. That's a nice sized flock. I also like a mixed breed flock. I have 29 birds right now, 18 pure breeds (some multiples) and three little mixed breed chicks.

Hello and welcome to the forums! My bride @AngelCyn and I just got into chickens this years (she grew up on a commercial egg operation, but that's much different to a back yard flock) and are both fairly new to the forums as well. We have a flock of 18 bantams, 15 full sized ones and 16 full sized pullets in a brooder. We went the route of a very diverse flock as well although the bantams are mostly silkies. You've found a great spot for information, motivation and support!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you’ve both joined, sounds like some interesting flocks there. Any chicken info you need can be found here and just perusing the various forum is a great way to learn new and very useful things about your chickens.
