Hello All,
I had chickens when I was younger, a bunch of mutt chicks I acquired from a local feed store. My best friend decided to get back into it, introducing me to chicken breeds and how different breeds have different colored eggs. Well we started off with three Easter eggers and each acquired different breeds from there. I have three EE pullets (hopefully), a light Brahma, and an Australorp. I'm going to acquire a few more, specifically a Salmon Faverolle, Blue Splash Maran, and an Olive Egger.
Chicken keeping sure has changed since I had those chicks all that time ago!

and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with your new chicks. Sounds like you are going to have a really colorful egg basket when they all start laying. The Learning Center is a great place to checkout for a refresher course on chicken keeping!
