Hello! We are raising backyard chickens in Ohio and loving it! We started last year with 3 hens and hatched 21 chicks this May. Right now we have what looks like 11 baby hens and 10 baby roosters. We built a large coop in our building using the sand method. So far it's been going well. We open the stall door that is connected to the coop almost daily to let the chickens free range. I look forward to reading your questions and possibly asking my own.
