I found some more photos and a video if my little ones. And the pen and filter I have as of right now that i will be redoing as the pen seems small to me so I let them free during the day. any feedback would be appreciated.

The bucket in the pond in the first picture has my pump in it which I plan on replacing with a sump pump that will run a few hours a day on and off with a timer. the three drums in the back are 30 gallon drums I have. The supply to each drum goes to the bottom and over flows through a 2 inch pipe into the next one. No media is in them at the moment because my pump has went out on me and i am working on getting a better replacement.and trying to figure out a better way to drain all the poo out of them as they collect it from the pond.

It might be useful to do some searching on vortex filters and solids pumps. Also searching on DIY aquaponics can also lead to some decent options for moving solids out of the pond and into a trap.

I have more of the drums that I used for the filter system. I plan in replacing the first two and having the spouts on bottom to drain all the poo out. Might just add the two new ones at the beginning and have more plants or rocks in the system.
